After a year and a half of waiting and Atlas shipping them to the wrong address I finally got my cars. I spoke to Atlas and was told the only decoder these were designed for is the loc sound nex18 connector. they have no plans to come up with a plan for other manufatures. I find this really disapointing as the car set cost 179.00 and now they require another 100.00 plus to set them up. If anyone has some idea I am open as I like the cars just not the situation.
In not that familiar with the Locsound brand but don't they usually have a sound and non sound version of the same decoder with the non sound being cheaper? Sound decoders are not cheap.
yes they do but the new decoder that is used is a full function decoder there is not just a sound only one maybe in the future there will be.
