I still love the CP Rail "Action Red" paint scheme from the 1970's (?) as much as I did when I was a kid. Locomotives looked great and the freight cars too adapted well with their differently assigned colors. I see none of these cars in the Carolinas. Thanks for posting!
"Sunset at Milepost Three" Insert train here... From the opposite side of the tracks, the same stormy sunset.

I'm not sure, but looking around on the Internet, I'm thinking that it might be made by Oshkosh Defense, with the original design by Steyr of Austria. Maybe a fan of military equipment can help us out.
From the meh file... It looked a lot better in my mind than the final product did... "Blue Hour Winter Sunflowers" A westbound grain train grind past MP 3.0 and a field of unharvested sunflowers. Heavy August/September rains have prevented the harvest, as well as an early October snowstorm. 30 sec time exposure.
Fixed up this photo a bit. Much better shot of the deadhead OCS Southbound near New Albin, IA. CP Marquette Sub. October 13, 2019 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
