I have done some modular railroading and I am wondering if it is possible to use Bachmann EZ track as opposed to Kato Unitrack to build the modules. I have recently been given a bunch of Bachmann track and would like to use it if possible Thanks.

Are you making all the modules, or can you talk everyone else into switching over?

If the answer to both those questions is no, the answer to your question is no.

Of course, you could try to make some adapter tracks for the ends, which have Unitrack connections on the outside and EZ Track connections on the other end...

thanks for the reply, I have the wood modular sections, and I would not be using any of them will other people like in a club , I would just use them by my own self

Line them up right and they'll connect just fine.

I'd do a few measurements and some math just to see if a longer or shorter module would suit EZ Track better.

As long as you are not going to interact with others, there should be no problems at all.

Even so, you could probably use them at a gathering, as long as the connectors were Kato. So you'd just install a short section of Unitrack at the end of a module and you would be set to go.
