Good morning, good evening, where ever you may be. It’s time once again for Weekend Modeling Plans and the last one for the month of September. Where has the time gone?

Saturday: Angela’s Dad is recovering from surgery so we are off to see him and help him get some things done on his property he can’t do right now. It’s mainly getting things in his shop and RV ready for winter as well as some light maintenance. He is also suffering from a bit of cabin fever so we plan to take him for a ride and let him change his scenery.

Sunday: We’ll have to get a few domestic chores done but I hope to continue work on the B&M layout as well as the FreeMo module. I finally settled on the industries I want for the Hillsboro Branch and have designed a junction box for my Tam Valley servo turnout controllers that will allow me to use a “home” fascia mounted CTC style panel as well as a “show” portable panel. The idea came from Star Trek The Next Generation ironically enough. Pictures will tell the plan better later but I hope to get a lot done on that. I also need to get the road bed and track down on my FreeMo corner module. Hopefully I can at least get that done.

So how about you? What do you have planned for the weekend? Let us know. We’ll return on Monday the 30th to see how we have all done. Until then, enjoy the weekend, have fun, stay safe and as always...

    High Greens!

Well -- it looks like I should be able to finish up my F3 project -- but, we'll see.

Hope Y'all have a great weekend,
    Wolf

Hopefully I am going to stain and paint a wood kit, then remove a lot of the paint

My only plans for the weekend are to do some minor cleanup around the layout and write up a review of a new servo mount for turnouts. Is there a good place to post such a review of the product (the creator is not an advertiser or affiliated with TrainBoard...)

They do have a webshop setup on their website, so they would technically be a retailer as well as manufacturer...

They would likely be similar to Interurban Models as they only market their items and as far as I know the only retailer for them. However, they will be expanding the shop soon to include other products (possibly including ESP32 CS kits!). I can post the review and omit the retailer link if that would solve the gray (or is it grey?) area situation.

Continuing to wire my DC railroad control panel. It's removable so that I can disassemble to layout someday. I made it small so as to conserve space, but I made it too small and it's been a challenge fitting all that wire and screw terminals inside it.
