I have the exploded diagram, and I got the tender reassembles, and everything else is back together, but I can't figure out how to reattach the drawbars to the engine. Can anyone give me a hint?
If I remember right you loosen the sides up just a bit and you slide the drawbar into the hole between the halves and make sure your wire is contacting each side and not bent when you install it and then you tighten the frame halves back up. I haven't done it in awhile but believe that's how it's done.

I managed to put it back together, and learned more than I wanted to know about how its laid out. Thank you both for your replies.
I held the wires tightly to it and slipped it back in. Fiddly thing to sort but very clever engineering.
Oh yes it's effective and constant contact the way it is set up.. I had to custom make a set of those wires when they weren't available if I wanted to run my loco took some figuring out but after a few tries viola.
