I'm from Chicagoland, so I'm used to REAL public transit. Took the Blue line to College for 4 years.

But Portland Oregon's MAX is still one of my favorite new transit systems. on time. Takes you where you want to go, well priced. And I road the WES for a year last time I lived up there.

A south bound BNSF crossing the UP Sunset Route. The hopper in the background just to the right of the locomotive is over the diamond.

Taken on Tuesday, NS local P85 ("P" for Piedmont Division) is at Talcott, SC returning to Columbia. Twin GP-60s 7118 and 7119 easily handle this segment of the run.

Went out Labor Day to Turlock and saw Union Pacific GP40-2 #1351 (ex D&RGW #3096) on the old Tidewater Southern at Hatch, Ca. This is the first time that I've ever seen a train of any sort here. Usually, it's just a bunch of tank cars and covered hoppers 69613856_2291744014257381_1052691321698910208_n.jpg 70008021_2291744030924046_5075468320900120576_n.jpg
