Unfortunately didn't get around to photos until Sunday morning but here are just a couple of the layout set up. Overall it was a good and enjoyable show. Well organised and quality punters. I'll sift through the others to find some good action shots of trains!
Did something that I normally wouldn't do. Got this Rapido RDC with DCC & sound new in the box for $125 from a friend who is moving and having to go from HO to N scale. I had been drooling over these since they were first announced. Although my layout is DC and my layout is a freelance railroad that connects to the MILW and NP, I couldn't pass it up. I had thought aboput repainting it for my freelance railroad but decided to leave it as is with the exception of changing out the couplers to Kadee 158's.
Been up north this weekend. Finally got down to the gas station to use the wifi. Great photos from everyone this week!
The Sumas Turn had a surprise power lashup with a GP20 along with one of the regular GP35s Following the turn out of Bellingham Yard: The next day the same power went south to Seattle on BN tracks:
Wow, now THAT is some cool power!! Nice pics!! True to life too, that's really how Milw used they're trackage rights from Tacoma to Sumas after 1970!
