According to BLI coming Nov 2019 NW2/SW7 N scale with sound. To put sound into a unit this small is an achievement. I'm wondering about the pulling power though. No mention of traction tires.
Another SW7, yea! Why do MFRs keep redoing engines that have already been done? Give me some Baldwins...AS-S616s for instance. Never done and something needed.
Maybe sometime they'll do a steam switcher. There hasn't been a decent 0-8-0 in years, and the Atlas/LL one won't be made again.

Yup there were a number out there that probably won't see the light of the day. Besides Baldwin there were Porter, Lima Hamilton, Whitcomb and another half dozen more.
I was hoping Atlas would redo the old LifeLike/Walthers SW9 with improved electrical pickups. With this announcement Atlas will probably not reissue the SW9 any time soon.
Well I am happy with this one, now I can add a few ATSF black switchers! And I may go for the SP tiger stripes! Just because they look so cool!
