Oregon Pacific & Eastern HO scale box cars are very rare to find. In the 1970's OP&E leased about 100 cars along with sister railroad Yreka Western that also had about 100. Both were owned by Kyle Railway and featured the "Blue Goose" logo. Also in the 70s OP&E hosted 20th Century Fox in the filming of "Emperor of the North" and in the 80's "Stand By Me".

Good idea. Considering that Emperor of the North is pretty much a cult favorite among railfans, I suspect there are enough folks here who would want one of those. I know I would.

The RR trestle scene was filmed on the McCloud River.

HONK! One of my very first boxcars was one of those from Micro Trains.
