Hello everyone I was planning on using a couple of dave bodnars boosters on my layout. While I was reading the many posts on the forum I found a pcb to use a Nano for the booster build. I ordered some boards with the files on that post and received them today. Since I ordered these boards the computer I had saved the post to my favorites list took a s%^t now i cant find that particular post can the author`s of any of these type posts please post a link to it Thanks for ant help James
Not sure what you are needing but if it is the link to the build here it is... http://trainelectronics.com/DCC_Arduino/DCC_Booster/index.htm I also ordered the boards used in that build and for the wireless throttle directly from him at a very modest price. They are the boards shown in his builds. I have all the parts now to build two throttles and one booster but haven't done it yet, Sumner
That is not the one I need. It was a thread on trainboard discussing building Dave`s booster but using his own design for the pcb to use an arduino nano instead of the pro mini that Dave uses. I have a bunch of nano`s and no pro mini`s thanks for the reply tho!!!!!!!! james ps. i have done searches for the post that i am looking for, but all the suggested threads do not contain the post i need
Could it be a design by @crusader27529 ? He is a member of these forums, but I can only find reference to a Nano version he mentions in a thread on another forum: https://www.modeltrainforum.com/showthread.php?t=108481
yes, the build on the other forum supports the nano ... code for the nano is on dave's site, pcb is on / available from oshpark .., there's not much updates in three years though ..
Thanks for the replies guys that is the one i was looking for but i could have sworn i saw it here!! thanks again James
No I ordered them from seeedstudio I got 23 for half the price of oshpark. I always order multiple lots of a board to the point were shipping increases from the original amount this is usually in the area of 20-30 depending on the board and usually get them in less than 2 weeks, that way i have extra`s in case of mistakes or someone would want some
I have built 1 of these but when it is powered up I get full throttle. I cant tell on the board the pinouts to the motor driver which one is number 1 and if they match the motor driver pins locations. I am assuming that the pins are layed out the same as the motor driver 7531 8642
