Welcome back fellow modelers! Are you ready for another weekend of building and working on your layout? Let's get started. Saturday: I need to add some more to my build thread of the B&M thread I started here on Trainboard. I've been busier working on the layout rather then posting updates. I may also build a Facebook page for this layout as I did for the Galesburg City Job. I'm at the stage for lighting but budgetary constraints have forced me to wait on that. I have structures I can build and scenery in the time being. I also have a bunch of N scale items I need to go through, organize and sell on the on-line auction site. Sunday: Yard work and domestic duties will probably be the focus, however, I'm hopping to sneak in a mini op session with the B&M layout. So how about you? What do you have planned for the weekend? Well - since my H12-44 project got derailed -- pun intended!! LOL. I have decided to start a project that I have wanted to tackle for quite a while. I should get back to my Lark -- but.... I will attempt to model a set of "F" units from each of SP's classes. I think I have enough "F" units to accomplish this. This will be a mixture of freight only and passenger equipped units. I have: (All in ABBA sets) SSW - FT's SP - High fan F3's (Kato) SP - Low fan F3's (Centrifugal DB fan) (Kato) SP - Low fan F3's (36" DB fan) (Kato) SP - F7's (Square doors) (Kato) SP - F7's (Round doors - 36" DB) (Intermountain) SP - F7's (Round doors - 48" DB) (Intermountain) SP - FP7's (Intermountain) Hope Y'all have a great weekend, Wolf
Not much this weekend. We have friends from out of town here through Sunday. Maybe Sunday afternoon I’ll get in the workshop or at the layout working on something. Have a great weekend all!!
Research continues for the modules I’m building. I hope have some plans drawn up for some more structures this weekend. Looks like I need to build around 17. Some will be duplicates of each other. Sunday I will cut foam board and glue to the module Frames. Then I can start building structures and tweaking the track plans as well.
