I have been on the hunt for, and at one point actually pre-ordered a couple of their Western Pacific Bay Window cabs. Are they available or has any even seen them. I see that one retailer isn't carrying them anymore. This is getting to be like my search for a Model Power WP FP7 or the IM WP FP7.

In an e-mail exchange I had with Craig in early July the cabooses were in production at that time. Craig was hopeful they would be in the States before Labor Day.

I just checked their web-site and there is no update on ETA posted there.

Just curious, are these the same cabooses as the Athearn International bay window cabooses? I picked up an SP bay window a few weeks ago and it's pretty nicely done. They did Genesis HO versions for WP and SP a few years ago, and these appear to be N scale versions.

The Athearn bay windows were done in the WP red scheme while the Bluford caboose is going to be done in the BCR scheme...not sure if that makes any difference.

    I see, yes.

I also see Bluford is doing five different bay window body styles too - pretty cool. Was just wondering if the Athearns are the same body style as one or two of the Blufords.

Yep. I'm hoping to a few of the BCR ones. I have one a couple of BCR ones (were they Micro-Trains or Athearn?) and the red one with the large WP on it.

I've had two of the P&LE bay windows on pre-order since they were announced last May. The web site says they're in production now, I'm keeping my finger crossed we finally see them by labor day (y) This is better news than a earlier forecast of spring 2020.

I've almost lost my taste for pre-orders. Most things that I have pre-ordered, I've gotten, but a couple of things I haven't.

Patience is a virtue, catch it if you can.
    Sometimes I wonder though.

I HAVE lost my taste for pre-orders. In more than a few cases, I want to see what the actual product looks like before I commit to buy. Also, I don't like the idea of tying up my money waiting for the MFR to decide IF they want to make something or not. I had the complete set of IM Chateau Martin milk reefers on order for so long that the credit card I originally used had expired. It was over three years before IM decided they didn't want to do those cars. Most of the cars I've pre-ordered have never seen the light of day and those that actually have took years to appear (waited so long for the Atlas Shays, the people I pre-ordered them with called me to see if I 1: still wanted them and 2: the credit card was still usable...which I respect). If you are going to make it, then just make it. If you want to see if anyone is interested, do what Kato does and just post a poll on Facebook.

    Rant over...

Yes! IM is very guilty of this. I pre-ordered a set of WP FTs from them, only to find out the decided to cancel the run. I have an original run set and wanted the four as per WP practice. I haven't purchased IM products since.
