I got the same Jersey barriers you did and had the same disappointment. One would think Shapeways would have improved the resolution by now...I will think more than once before getting stuff from Shapeways now that I see the quality of printing coming from vendors such as Briggs Models...I used mine on the highway scene. I'd post a photo but Flickr can't list my photos at the moment...My Jerseys are far enough away you can't really see the graininess, and the likelyhood of close photography at that particular location is slim. Still...
