    Here’s a comparo.
Brand new stock on the left, tm-tr04 on the right, wheelbase in second position, with the longest LL piece on the rear.
    It is absolutely perfect.
Even comes with additional weights to install in the extensions to balance the chassis and give a little better pickup on the rear unpowered truck.
Really nice, and thanks Garth H!

That really turned out nice! Ride height and wheel size look so much better IMO in that configuration.

That ride height looks sooooo much better! And since you can't clear the interior for passengers make sure to fill whatever space is left with weight instead of just filler strips. It can only help the performance. I like it!

If you have a gram scale I would love to know what weight you end up with.

    Sorry tracktoo, no gram scale.
It’s not as heavily as the original even using both supplied weights... but it does have traction tires on two wheels on the front truck. They are very effective.

And on mine no room to add more weight. I used the space aft of the unpowered rear truck for the bridge rectifier circuit board and the spark module. I went with the low voltage/decoder version, thinking with the supply voltage being so low...
but if I were doing it again I’d do the regular version as it currently comes on before the motor does.
Perhaps a nice 330 ohm resistor between the rectifier and the module would change that behavior.
If I can find room for it. For now it works excellent though.
