It's nice, but I have a lot of Kato Mikes...Wonder if they'll do it in Milw. livery-Kato didn't and the Milw. had 100 of them! At least it won't mean having to convert to sound/dcc , and fit them pesky details.
They’re HERE! https://www.broadway-limited.com/paragon3usramikado2-8-2nscale.aspx Who’s got an order in?
Does anyone know what prototype they used with the turbogenerator in front of the stack? I've never seen one.
Would love one but my wallet is fighting me almost as hard as the CFO so for now, I just get to look.
I would love to see a Dreyfus Hudson. As well as the passenger cars. It's the most beautiful steam era passenger train. Evolving products beyond retreads will make Nscale more popular I think. An L1 from C&O would be amazing. Hudson's are beautiful locomotives. They're like Morgan horses, versatile and powerful and elegant, compact, muscular and a refined build. Our hobby has a huge hole in it due to a dearth in Hudson's.
I could fabricate an oil insert (like the old GHQ kits had) and cast it up.... might be a nice mod. What else would change, besides maybe feeder details on the belly? (We got the new house, setting up the RnR workshop today!!)
