MP15AC would be a great addition to Z-scale, I could use a couple in Milwaukee Road. Maybe that's your next venture?

Thank you for your kind words! Yessir, I made everything you see in the gallery. Most of them were built to test out the fit of the decals I ordered. After the decals pass that test is when I make them available on the website.
I still have to finish my second S2, before I order some SW1200's. I wish I could use the SW1500, but NP didn't have any, and since I am retired, I'll only be buying locos that the Northern Pacific used from here on out. I do have a BN SW1500 that Gerd made for me years ago. With your skills, it would be so cool if you were to make some steam loco shells that fit over the Marklin, Tenshodo, and Rokuhan mechanisms for US steam locos. A USRA 0-6-0 with sloped back tender and seperately applied grab irons, steam pipes, and sanding tubes that fits over the Marklin BR89 would be an economical starting point for steam, and how cool would it be, to have a steam switcher in Z! Also, I have laser cut Mylar window glazing, and laser cut Acrylic light pipes, that precisely fits the S2 switchers. If you want to add them to your S2 kits, I can send you some for free if you are interested.
I'd be interested in making a steam loco if it's just a shell and tender. I'm taking a break from motors, gears and designing chassis after I complete the GE 44 tonner. Which, btw, is coming along okay. The chassis is still a work in progress but the shell and handrails are considered complete. See pics. Currently, it's running characteristics are not good. That's because I had to use a 3rd party motor and worm gear that don't mesh perfectly with the shorty gears. However, I did find a 6mm wide motor with the right size shaft that will fit the worm gear that comes with the shorty. It will take another month before it gets here from China. Then another few weeks for Shapeways to print the new chassis. It's slow going.
That is worth the wait. I've been waiting since forever...Thanks for making it. The NHRR had a bunch of these. I've attempted to kitbash one from a Marklin loco. This is much, much better. Jim
That GE 40 ton looks great! Many California short lines used those. I would very much like to see new Z scale small steam. I have spare 0-6-0 and 2-6-0 Marklin tank engines I would be willing to lend to the cause. That way you don’t have to buy 1 of every chassis type to figure out which would fit an American prototype best. I’d really like to see the 0-8-0 turned into a 2-8-0, or made generic enough that both a 2-8-0 and 0-8-0 could be done from the same shell.
The last I remember were built by Mr. Huet many years ago; Yours look much more accurate. Good work, Rudy!!!! Best, Sven
