    NYC Roundhouse in Anderson

NYC 7741, a U-3a 0-8-0 built by Brooks in 1919 for the Big Four, prepares to move onto the turntable in Anderson Indiana in 1954. The Roundhouse doesn't have that many more years to live.

Was the roundhouse demolished all at once , or in stages.
A 1952 aerial photo shows approximately a quarter-round building, while a 1959 photo seems to show that about half the stalls have been removed.
The roundhouse is completely gone in the next photo from the '90s.

It was brought to my attention, the loco is either pulling an engine out of the roundhouse or pushing it in. When the original photo is examined, the second loco is obvious. Thank you to the perspn who stated that!
