Blunt end sleeper on Sunset Limited. Modified Con Cor 10-6 sleeper. Parts from Rowa observation car, Tomar drum head and scratch built light cluster. I have since replaced this car in my consist with one built up from etched metal sides mounted to a Kato business car chassis.

I will not let this thread drift off into oblivion and besides the SP lives in my world.

Fresh out of the paint shop my "heritage unit" done in the famous Black Widow. This is a FVM ES44AC that I painted and decaled. It is a great runner, it runs "like a KATO". Oh, I did put a KATO motor in it!

Have a happy Memorial Day and let us never forget why and who we honor on this day,
    Carl

Just love it Carl! Nicely done! In my small SP world Primer Gray was outlawed as an environmental hazard and all existing paint schemes stayed with the one exception of the pumpkin PA!

Yes Carl, I will. I do have a backup plan if my attempt is a dismal failure, I have an expert painter who can fix it.

I finished up a project - long in the needing and making:
(Thanks to: @JMaurer1 , @Onizukachan and @Mike Madonna - for the inspiration to correct the truck spacing.)

    First, I started with:

Back dated the paint/lettering and with a correct road number (I need to work on the end ladder grabs)

While I was at it -- I did up 2 more:

    Thanks,

I wish I had the time, talent, and the drive that Wolf has. One more time he produces another car I want that is just beautiful!

I did the same with remotoring 2 Fox Valley Units. Much easier to MU with Kato units. Love your paint work.
