Doing a little shunting with my pannier tank engine. But what is that German Deutsche Bahn goods wagon doing in the yard here?

I went back in time to get some cars to run in consists for the 1950's.

First is a 1937 AAR Boxcar kit from IMWX. The only modification to the kit was the use of Yarmouth Model Works Sill Steps in place of the plastic sill steps of the kit. Painted with Scalecoat II Boxcar Red and lettered with Speedwitch Media Decals. Car was one of 3,500 built by the NP in the early 40's and used in general service along with hauling grain during the fall grain rush.

Next is a post war 1944 AAR Boxcar kit from Atlas (Ex-Branchline), used the 4-4 ends and Murphy Panel Roof to match the prototype along with A-Line Sill steps in place of the plastic ones. Car was painted with a mixture of Scalecoat II Oxide and Boxcar Red paints then lettered with Speedwitch Media Decals. Again car was used in general service.

    Thanks for looking!

I must have missed the GS-2, Wolf, but at least could catch a GS-4 .....

I have to confess, this is not the usual place, where you hunt for GSs. ;-))

    But it is !!!

    SP Mole 2 TB.jpg

It looks very lonely, but when you change your point of view, ...

    SP Mole 3 TB.jpg

..., it appears quite crowded !!!

No doubt, an Espee GS-4 .......

A Big Baldwin does what was built to do and transfers cars through the crossovers:
