Fortunately Jim added those side mirrors. I toyed with having them, but wasn't happy with the result.

Hey, Mike and John. I will take full blame for putting mirrors on the F100. The F100 was the most difficult of the batch. I won't be adding them to my next batch. This was a fun project and totally unexpected. Does anybody think my notion of making decals for the windows is practical? BTW. The photos don't really do them justice. Even in natural light they don't look like they do in real life. Jim

Hey, Sven. Good idea. Where did all the great autos come from? Everybody in z scale seems to have some. How do I get some? I love the Showcase Miniatures trucks and pick-ups. They have been silent in Z for awhile. I hope we see something from them soon. I have a bunch of their trucks and pick-ups. Their building kits are very good, too. How many layouts do you have? This looks like it is your full-time job, that is, you seem to be working on things all the time. Wish I was in the same spot. Jim

As Sven mention, here's a peek to my humble contribution to Z scale.

Very Nice. What are they made of? Are they cast or 3-d printed. Do you have a catalog/website? Thanks, Jim

Thanks, Sven. The cement mixer is a Marklin product and it fits perfectly on the SCM frame. There is a dump truck body from Marklin, too. They were a set offered years ago.

Hi, Mike. The less masking the better...I'd like to see one in clear plastic. Maybe you could print them in both versions? The only potential issue I can see is touching up any production blemishes. There were some anomalies that I sanded away and are not visible after they are painted that may pose a problem with the windows. Who knows, "frosted" windows may look cool in their own way. If all else fails, a tiny "For Sale" will hide any distraction. Best, Jim

Ave! Joao. Very nice. What a selection. I love the Greyhound Vista cruiser bus. My first car as a teen was a '58 Buick. It was so big I could fit the 8-track player in the glove compartment. LOL. I parked it on the beach in Daytona Beach, Florida and went for a walk. We came back a couple of hours later and it was "beached" in water up to the doors. I'd love to have a photo of that. LOL. I'd like to add a '58 Buick if you've got one. Best, Jim

Every 2 years there is a Youngtimer/Oldtimer Rallye in Sinnweiler, Germany.
These are pictures from the 2015 competition:

    Rallye 3 TB.jpg

The specialty of this race is, that the road ends on top of the hill and all cars have to be transported by train to the next leg.

    Do you see the cat?

    Me, too!
It is a full metal model, heavier than many locos in Z!

Here is an example of window decals. They were included with the loads on this MTL flatcar. Could something like this be done for resin/3-D printed vehicles? Jim DSCN1609.JPG

    Yes, Jim,
However, depends strongly how smooth the surface of the printing material is.

Amazing paint jobs on all your cars. After only making 7 of them I know how time consuming each one can be. Here is an updated view of the original 6. I removed the mirrors from the F100 and repainted the hood white. The PCC has some small modifications. It is waiting for a shorty and trucks. The catenary pole will be free-range cat whisker. 20190623_161904_resized.jpg
