Good Morning, good evening, where ever you may be. It's time for Weekend Modeling plans. Today I'm writing from New Hampshire as I get Jess the Railfan Jeep ready for the trip home. My weekend will involve hitches, trailers and hopefully a few rides on the motorcycle as well as a few good byes to family and friends before I set out Monday. My Modeling was backwards this past week. While in Illinois, I finally got some modeling done while waiting for the airlines to decide when I could fly out east again. I had a two day delay. So, I used those two days to work on the City Job. The good news is that I'll be set up at my favorite show next weekend in Galesburg. The bad news is that Bill will not be set up with me. I spent those two days re-laying the track that connected my Burlington Modules to the first of the Santa Fe modules. That was the connection that I damaged at last years RR days. I also finally applied ballast to a section of track, added more static grass and finally finished the grade crossing. Good thing I did all of that cause by the time I get home next Tuesday, it will be time to load up and hit the road for Galesburg! So how about you? What are you doing this weekend? Let us know. We'll assemble again on Monday the 17th to see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, stay safe and as always... High Greens!
Well -- let's see --- what shall I do-?? Saturday: Paint the ends on my caboose project. Get started on another project-? Get back to decaling my Lark - ? HMMMM ---- Sunday: Being Father's day -- (We do not have our Father's with us any more) -- I'll figure something out (modeling wise) -- report on Monday. Hopefully, mask and paint the cabooses. Hope Y'all have a great weekend!! To all you Dads -- HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!! Wolf

Work on my coal yard scenic element is continuing. Need to get the coal applied to the forms I created (see in my thread in Layout Design Discussion, if interested). Working on a couple of figures including making a shovel from wire and aluminum sheeting. Want to get the coal yard area surface finished and painted in prep for detailing and try to get stone walls installed. Plus want to start my first weathering attempt! Hopefully will get at least some of that done!
Gonna try and get some more scenery done this weekend, install some trees. never ever seems to get done.
Sunday, will take the Canadian VIA Rail from Quebec. The Mrs. and I are on vacation and flew up to Canada on a lark. One place we'd never been. Looking forward to the train ride. I'll try to remember to snap some picts. Happy Fathers Day all!!
