Was out in the garage and found a old package of Lounge Chair webbing from the 70's. Thought it might make a great support for my hills. Easy to cut and staple. Free also. Thanks
One thing I've always avoided was vertical cliffs. Think about it. Someone, sometime had to quarry that cliff. Looks like a lot of work to me. I would make your hills come down to near the track and get rid of the cliff look. More realistic I believe. Back east there are cliffs like this so you can't go wrong either way.
And this is just on an itty-bitty railroad called the White Pass & Yukon Route. Lots of vertical rock faces.
I love vertical cliffs. I live back east. I am going to try and make them look like they have been blasted away with the drill lines that they use to plant the explosives. Being realistic is a matter of opinion ' and their are vertical cliffs every where.
