I have both TCS and Digitrax decoders. If you can program/understand one you can program/understand the other.
I agree 100% with this. I have a range of decoders, from Lenz Silver Mini's to Digitrax, TCS, Zimo, Soundtraxx and ESU. I am not saying this is ideal, but as was posted once you can program one decoder you can pretty much program others. This is especially true for motion only decoders. Sound decoders can be a bit more challenging. Here I do agree, stay away from the Digitrax sound decoders! ESU and now ZIMO are so much better sound decoders
