Here is a 3 minute video that I made a few weeks back. One of my favorites. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.

Very nice! Almost forgot that Roadrailer could be run in reverse, with
another adapter railer on the rear!
Have several Triple Crown sets in my collection!

Nice video Carl. I like the triple 57 tofc car and that Santa Fe road railer trailer. Somehow, I never managed to pick up one of those.

thanks for the comments. I have had this train for several years now and have hardly run it because I was a bit skeptical about the roadrailers performance. As it turns out, they are some of my best running cars and the flats are very good runners as well. The triple unit is from Alan Curtis, shows how long I've had it, and it is "white metal" so fairly heavy. Rides well. Of course the very smooth running KATO's help too.

I have none. Biggest problem I have seen is coupling them up. Watched a guy hooking 50th trailer and tipped it to far took the other 49 trailers over. The prototype does the same.

    Carl,
Are you running stock wheels on Roadrailers?
I’m thinking on swapping to metal wheels at some point.
Not sure what steel wheels would fit the rail trucks.

    Keith,

I am running them as they came out of the box. To be honest I never looked but I am pretty sure they are plastic, they do not sound metallic. I have elected to just leave them alone.

PS: I am learning to just leave things as made and I have been happy with the results and don't start changing things around.

Fantastic video Carl. Never seen those before except as an eBay listing. Such a wacky idea, but I guess it worked!
