Welcome back from the weekend. How did you do? Saturday: Was spent at the State of NH Auction. I did not bid on anything as the only thing I wanted was an enclosed trailer that ended up selling for triple it's worth. After the Auction, I watched the Avengers Endgame movie and relaxed a bit. Sunday: Was spent doing laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping and changing the oil in my Harley. By the time I got everything done, I had only a little bit of time to ride before the day was over, so no trains this weekend. So how about you? Let us know how you did. We'll assemble again on Friday the 24th to start the process all over again. Until then, have a great week, be safe and as always... High Greens!
Planned and drilled a few holes for some grabs and handrails. Still waiting on detail parts. They *might* be here today...
I had a pretty good weekend. Saturday morning: My Granddaughter's kick scooter went back together with out a hitch. Amazing - since the darn thing was kicking my behind for the past couple of weeks. Finding parts for a 50 plus year old German scooter is a real pain. (Ended up cleaning up the messed up threads with a new tap & die set -- ) Still looking for a goose neck bolt. It's just shy of 15" long bye M8X1.25 (The nut is a bit messed up - vice grips to the rescue) Saturday afternoon: I finally put a decoder into my GS-2 -- she runs absolutely fantastic. Sunday: Did some messing around on my layout -- nothing major -- a bit of track cleaning - and, running of trains. Man -- I needed that. Hope Y'all had a great weekend, Wolf
I didn't get nearly as much accomplished as I would have liked... I found a big bug in the DCC++ESP32 Development branch code related to the DCC signal, orig signal... new signal. But with this fixed I uncovered a few more bugs with signal encoding corruption. So, more debugging will be in store this week before I can release a new version. A small bit of progress has been made on the DCC++ESP32 PCB as well, more work TBD before the first batch of PCBs can be ordered.
I finally got around to decaling my heavyweights thanks to the upcoming club open house. It was a lot less painful than I was expecting. Hopefully I can keep the momentum going and work on my cabooses next.
A few more cars completed and cleaned up the train room . Getting it ready for it’s big day on the first. Also fixed up a couple of structures. Added a back to a background building. I had to get Creative with other kit parts. Also scratch built a water column.
