I really liked the listing for the Key brass SP 4-8-2 (the box says MT-5 4-8-8-2...there seem to be some missing drivers then) PRICED TO MOVE at $1000. He WISHES!

What some people don't know about weathering and aging could fill a book. Those couple of passes from the hairdryer just reduced this decent little cluster of buildings into pure junk.

That is really a interesting scene. Grew up around farming and farmhouses all my life and have never seen one with a in ground pool. Actually never seen one with a pool at all.

Yea the only pool we had in ground was a stock watering pond or the river.

I had an O scale boxcar (for my RR) that I kept stored in the closet. When I moved, I got the car out and it was horribly warped and mangled. I didn't think it would get that hot in the top of a closet...right next to the attic access. People forget how hot garages and attics can get.

Wow. Just .... wow. They can't seriously think that deteriorating buildings look like that?

Humor comes in all shapes & forms, so step #1 is recognizing it as humor and not something serious.

Whats sad is sometimes something that appears to be a joke...isn't to the other person.

I doubt a hairdryer had anything to do with those melted buildings. They probably were in a hot garage or attic and ended up like that. The “seller” is just trolling to see if someone bites.

That's the home of the farmer who sold his land to a developer with plans to build a new residential subdivision.

Dang, and here I threw out all my dad's old vintage Railroad Model Craftsman magazines a few years ago. I could be rich.

Our local train museum takes in railroading magazines, and they give them away free to visiting kids and interested adults. I think they got my whole stash of N Scale.
