Special thanks to Bremer for doing the Friday thread. I have been in Central Illinois visiting with Angela, the dogs and friends. No model railroading for me other than visiting my former “not so local hobby shop” on Saturday. Post what you did this past weekend, we’ll get together again on Friday the 26th. Until then, have a great week, stay safe and as always...

New F3A done, unimate coupler, diaphragm, and SBS twin beam plate in the mars light lens. Also added reverse light to the B unit, figured why not?

Need to seat the cab interior into the shell instead of to the chassis, glue it in place, and then paint black over the glue to cure the light bleed from the mars.

Also added 200uf capacitance for the color changer LED hidden in the bar of the tavern car. Now it stays on cycle and doesn’t start over at red if there is a flicker/ momentary interruption of power due to dirty track etc...

I got absolutely nothing done and proud of it. Hopefully I can get a structure done today.

    You're welcome Jim,

I just stripped down the last 5 inches of my layout to add a junction...

Did a kit bash today. Since I had so many parts left my n the kit I made another building. This one fits better than what I had there before.[IMG]

No model stuff for me either. Spent the last week out in the woods at the old family place. Someone brought a drone to play with.

This afternoon when I got home from work, I decided that the new Southern Pacific branch was exactly where I wanted it, so I have glued them down.
I then turned to my attention to the crossing at 14th Street. The old “asphalt” between the rails didn’t look as nice as I wanted.

The new crossing is some old Micro Engineering turnout ties, I glued them to the ties.

Made it up north this weekend and took a look at my future layout space in the guest house. There is water damage to the ceiling which I hope I can deal with without removing it. (Bleach and Kilz?) However, I'm not optimistic.

Well -- I was gone from Friday (early Am) to Sunday afternoon. Went with a few friends to a mountain rendezvous. I took yesterday off of work. And, finished my BL-2 project:
