Atlas put out coil cars, were you not happy with them or were they the wrong prototype?

Red Caboose is now part of Intermountain I believe.

It's a different prototype from what Atlas or Red Caboose/Intermontain has done so it would be a nice addition to N scale. Can't speak for Jim but I was happy with both offerings and would welcome this 3rd prototype to the mix.

Well I am all for diversification of rolling stock types, makes sense since we have how many variations of caboose and box cars, why not coil cars too.....

I guess I could go for a dozen or so if they are made....

Fox Valley picked up RC, then got caught in the China debacle, so I don't see anything from them for a couple years.
Briggs, on the other hand, is getting a nice reputation for quality work.

So David and BNSF fan, if you would like this car made, follow the instructions in the original article and contact Chris to let him know how many you would like. He recently mentioned that there may be a discount for large quantities, David.

And be advised this is NOT ready to run. And also not cheap. But I believe on the basis of Briggs' past performance will produce a quality car that would love to be on The Oakville Sub!

I was just notified this project is a go and will include at no extra cost appropriate decals. I can hardly wait!
