Candy, Very nice ! ! You said the staircase paint bleeds. Is the staircase 3D printed by Shapeways and if so did you soak in Bestine for a while to remove the wax ? I have failed to soak a FUD printed item before painting and the plastic oozes (what a word) wax that bubbles up the paint. Oh, BTW, your 1st image "a view from the outside", wouldn't that be you on the calendar ? Carl
Who knocked the flower off the file cabinet? Some overzealous, angry bowler who only got a 299 trying for a 300? Doug
Things are looking great. Keep up the good work. You looked that interesting back in 1962?? Heck! I was only 12 but taking such things in back then.
Candy, Never too late. BTW, nice calendar young lady. Now back to subject. I made that goof once and was able to strip off the paint and then soak the part in Bestine and after 3-4 hours was able to wash the piece and re-paint. Worked out well. I guess it depends on what type of paint you used. If acrylics you could maybe soak in warm water and eventually get the paint off. Another possibility might be 91% ISP. I keep mentioning Bestine but there may be something else that would clean up the printed part without melting it. Main thing as always, have fun, Carl
Finished the space that won't be seen. The kitchen storage and restrooms. This is how it will workout.
Just for some of the little things, I think the file cabinets turned out excellently and the blotters on the desks are a great accent.
I clicked "Like". But we really need a sad button. I know all about severe health stuff. Not fun. But I do know all about the support of fellow hobbyists, which is a wonderful thing! We are here. We love following your projects and seeing those scene photos. Take good care and be back, quickly!
I haven't been working on my Bowling alley lately but I will start soon. I'm feeling good and if the Red Sox win tonight I will feel even better !
Hopefully those Red Sox won. I'm not interested in those kinds of sports so I don't know. But still wishing for you.
I did not even know that baseball season had begun? I lost interest years ago, after being a rabid fan, when fallout from the Curt flood affair changed the sport far too much.
I like to follow college hard and soft ball teams. No highly paid egos, just experienced athletes enjoying competition using their abilities.
