The Lewis County Model Railroad Club is sponsoring their Spring Model Train Show and Swap Meet, 6-7 April 2019

A special treat for this show is an unofficial European Train Enthusiasts (ETE) mini-convention. In support of this event, we will be devoting a large area to operating European train layouts.

As always, this is an all scales show with items from Z scale to G scale plus Tinplate, Toy Trains, and collectibles. Multiple operating layouts will be on display and possibly LEGO Trains.

Over 160 tables available for sellers. We usually sell out so reserve your table(s) early.

Saturday ONLY: Admission to the Lewis County Historical Museum, home of the Lewis County Model Railroad Club layout, is FREE. Our 15' x 52' layout will be open and operating for your viewing pleasure. Please come to the show first and then visit the museum before it closes at 4 PM. The museum is located next to the train tracks in downtown Chehalis, 599 NW Front Way.

The show is located at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds Blue Pavilion building.

2555 N. National Ave., Chehalis, WA 98532. Loads of FREE parking.

If arriving from the north, take S. Gold Street which changes into National Avenue at NE Exhibitor Road. Both Gold and National are one-way heading south. If arriving from the south, take Kresky Avenue and then cross over to National on Exhibitor Road. The entrance is across the street from Titus Will Chevrolet. See the attached link to a Google Map:

Only about 1 month to go until the show. We will be having a 20' x 20' LEGO Trains area. The European Train Enthusiast group will have a 20' x 40' area. The Lewis County Historical Museum will be open all day Saturday with FREE admission to all. You don't have to come to the train show if you don't want to to gain admission to see the 52' x 15' club layout in the museum. However, it would be nice if you did.

I hope to see you there.

Only a couple of weeks till the show. One major change to report. The European Train Enthusiast group has decided to not setup a large layout. This is because the main person responsible for the setup will probably be on a ship somewhere in the Pacific.

We still have tables available if you are interested in selling at the show. See the first post in this thread for contact details.

Hope to see you at the show.

One week until the show. Due to some late cancellations, we have a few tables left if you want to sell at the show.

We have a 20' x 20' area for a LEGO trains group so be sure to bring the kids (young or old!).

Someone is bringing a speeder. Not sure of the type or if it is for sale but it will be right up front.

Several people wanted to sell layouts so we have a 'Wall of Layouts' area. This is a FREE service.

Remember, Saturday is a FREE open house at the Lewis County Historical Museum. Come see and operate our continuously improving 15' x 52' HO layout.

They have a web site, but most of their reporting activity seems to be on FB.
