Hi all, this weekend we had Rail 2019, one of two large scale modelrailroading events in The Netherlands. Lots h0 and N-scale, lots of traders, but.. 5 no less z-scale layouts. Of which 4 by our Flemish friends (Belgium) and 1 by a Dutchman. I like to share some pictures: Fully digital z-scale: Compact but colorful Belgian Ardennes layout.. Schienenbus Bahn (that is - Railbus layout), fully digital Z-scale module on an ironing board (hence the shirt etc.), with running water (!) from watertap, functional mechanical semafore, opening doors on car barn... German fantasy: Finally, a nice and fairly large modular layout by Belgian modelrailroadclub www.mtdtreinenclub.be Lots of scratch built or kitbashed car models: Scratch built castle: Stationary z-scale models (Editions Atlas) converted to running models with help of Marklin chassis: And just for fun, = off topic = a picture of an h0 module called "sweet home chicago". After one heck of a movie-classic... The police car in front is passing by on top speed, in it two gentleman in black suits... Cheers, Matt
......looks like that scene from "The Blues Brothers". Very nice; thanks for posting these Matt. Mark in Oregon
