After the purchase of my latest DSLR (16 years after the first) a good friend and photography mentor has convinced me to embrace high ISOs that would have been INSANE in the film era. Indeed, your ISO is part of the story of your shot! Your alternatives might have been committing this scene to fallible and relatively unshareable memory!!
