    Hi all.

I want to add a PRR 2-8-0 model to my HO fleet, bringing my total to two locomotives hehe. However I've heard a fair number of horror stories about BLI locomotives. The fact I live in Holland makes importing them also much more, as I can find brass in the 150 to 200 range, and then source a decoder, can motor, and so on here. I don't mind doing the work on a loco- it's part of the fun for me. I just want to get one which will run trouble free.

Anyone have advice or experience with BLI?

    Thanks,

    Amanda

Amanda, if you want to stay with N, get a Bachmann 2-8-0, and a Minitrix K4 shell and 0-6-0 cab...

    Hi Brenner,

Thanks much! This one is for an HO project though. I may have a go at an NYC Connie in N.

Look at Howies Trains in Pennsylvania. He has several Key Imports Custom Series PRR 2-8-0s in the $5-600.00 range. You won't get that kind of accuracy from ANY plastic model.
