    Hi Hank,

Welcome to the "new" world. I am 78 and boy do I wish all of this, including DCC, computer stuff had come along say 50 years ago. Have fun my friend,

    Carl

I second that AARGH and add an exclamation point! DCC is sort of intoxicating how many locos can be running in any direction one wants.

Think of running your first N-scale DCC as a gateway drug....

Oy Vey, this is gonna get addictive and EXPENSIVE,

You guys are no help at all. All you want to do is sucker another innocent "child" into your DCC Opium dens. Where's my Mommy when I need her.

Now you need to just get a few items to support DCC a little better and one of them being JMRI, it is compatible with your ECos system and allows an easy interface from your computer to your layout. Handiest program for programming decoders, although the ESU programmer is best for the sound decoders.

Yeah, I've heard the authorities can easily find out by your abnormally high electric bills...from running all those long trains constantly! :ROFLMAO:

Luckily, I do NOT have enough room to run extra long trains!
Matter of fact, I have run anything here in some time! Might
be time to clean off and play for a while, finally!
