Hi everyone, Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm an HO-scale modeler, with a lot of equipment I've had in boxes for 25 years or more. Now that we've bought a house, I'm finally building a layout. I'm a big Erie/DL&W/E-L fan, so needless to say I'm modeling the E-L in the late 1960's. Mostly a branch line that connects with mainline traffic. I love the southern tier area of NY state (Corning, Gang Mills, Canisteo) but may have to freelance the area a bit. Right now I'm still constructing the L-girder benchwork, so there's quite a ways to go. I look forward to seeing what others are doing on this site, getting some ideas & inspiration. I'm a staff photographer for a daily newspaper, and I've been a railfan since my early teens (so 40 years or so). Thanks! Brian
Hi Brian, Welcome, happy to have you on board. Interesting choice in companies being a Canadian. Though looking forward to what you create. Please share any/all photos you wish.
Welcome aboard, Brian. Keep us posted with your progress. I am interested in the southern tier area of NY.
Years ago I was a member of the "Rusty Rail Fans" and we visited your area looking at the Canadian Pacific Electric lines. Beautiful country. Welcome aboard Brian, fellow Canuck.
