I have been working on building up an N Scale model of the 1942 Morning Hiawatha from GHQ etched car sides and American Limited core kits. I still have to add hand rails to the sides of all the car, but other than that I am pretty much finished. They all have interiors and are lighted (except the two baggage/express cars).

Nothing new this week again, I would show you a picture of my clean workbench before I moved, but I can't find my menory card holder to load the picture. But I do have a picture from the archives to share. Also have about 200 boxes to go through and store in various places.

The latest addition to the fleet of Rio Grande SD40T-2s. This is the Athearn version of 5392. 5392 was part of the Grande's fourth order placed in 1978, the Mars light was mounted in a box on the nose. It has see through grills, and the gear tower has been modified so it doesn't block the view. They also put the number of the unit above the rear headlight, just like the prototype.
I have a couple of other tunnel motors from previous releases pictured hete, 5342, and 5362. Just three of my SD40T-2s.
Hope everyone had a Grande Thanksgiving.
