Seen a couple of the cargill cars as late as the early eighties.

Had a yard right below where we were living at the time so I know at least 2 made it past the 70's.

Why I bought it as I model fall 1979.

I got this on my birthday last Saturday:

I had a similar one a few years ago that was a Santa Fe one, which I had sent to Yellowstone Train Repair to be rebuilt, but stuff happened and it has yet to be returned. But at any rate, this is a nice looking engine, and runs nicely!

This beast just arrived today from member Kiha66 thanks man.

Can't wait to get started on it ascot just fell into the last spot on my build list.

As the 38-2 takes first place as my next build and my water fuel mow tank is my break from working to long on these.

What are you going to do with it? Any detail parts or new paint?

Yup next up to go into the tank then repainted into my freelanced roads colors.

    With many details added.

Have the gp38-2 above it in the process of being worked on now then my mow dual liquid tank.

Picked up from a friend today. RI SD-24 Atlas. Custom painted, he is thinning his collection. This has QSI sound and DCC. RI did not have any of these but the price was right and it runs like a champ. This one falls under “My Railroad, My Rules”
I am slowly collecting all the roads that ran in Oklahoma with diesel power. Not sure yet how far I’ll go, but a Farmrail is coming soon.

    Thanks for looking!

Posted this one the other day. I added a bit of soot to the grills and exhaust. Touched up the handrails and replaced a missing sun shade. Even for a nonexistent locomotive, I think it came out decent. Thanks for looking!

Paid a visit to Walt Disney world in August. Hit the Coca-Cola store. Looks like I have two doubles on my coke trucks. The 1937 and 1938 trucks I already had.[IMG]

Just got some items out of layaway at my LHS. Hobby manufacturers have been good to us in Michigan lately. First, Bowser has always been good to those of us who model the Detroit and Mackinac. Their latest offerings are two series of D&M hoppers (just need to beat them up, dirty them, rust them, and add gypsum loads) and one of their ex-PRR caboose fleet in the old maroon and gray livery. Now I'm also going to be obligated to paint the old Atlas RS3 I bought a while ago to match.
The D&M boxcar is a Walthers model as is the E&LS boxcar from north of the bridge.

The ultimate score was Bachmann's Grand Trunk Western Pacific 5629. Now I'll have to finally dig out my set of Canadian National passenger cars and reletter them for the GTW.

A roundhouse I Recently purchased and built. I haven't installed the tracks yet because I had a problem with the turntable and had to return to Walthers for an exchange.

When I was in italy last year I bought a book on the siemens locos. The Rail jets are really cool because they have those double pantographs for cross border trips between countries with different voltages on their catenary.

Super cool set you got there.

Very nice looking Roundhouse like how it turned out.

What colors did you use for the weathering on the roundhouse.
