Anyone have experience with these decoders? I notice they are priced below Digitrax and TCS and was wondering if they had any quirks or tendencies that I may want to consider before getting some. I plan to use these in some diesels without sound so a two function decoder would be fine (I think).

I would say that I've had considerably more problem with defects in NCE decoders, especially DA-SR or D13SR. Although Digitrax are a few bucks more expensive, I find them much easier to use and much more reliable. NCE is also harder to deal with on returns. But this is a subjective opinion.

I have used a few and never had any problem. Thought the lighting had better options than Digitrax.
I have lost a few decoders from Digitrax- They always replaced them- no questions asked.
I have had good results with NCE support- just never had to replace a decoder- I have an NCE system and have always had good results in getting customer support.
