At this time, I need a simple caboose kit to add variety to my Pacific Electric caboose fleet. I can really need a Leigh Valley 25 foot caboose that is currently made be American Model Builders...how about you, what do you need in N?
HHMM. Good topic. Ho scaler's, like myself are very lucky, as we have a lot of stuff available to us. A lot of models have been upgraded, modernized, and created. I see a need for modern flat cars. Not the 86' or 89' flats. but 60+- flats with the area on the side sills that view the truck cut out that shows the wheels, per FRA guidelines. Other than that, and this is prolly more than $50.00, we need an updated 250 ton crane. Like the Industrial Brownhoist crane. MFGRs are still selling steam based models that are based on cranes approaching 90 years old. But thats just me. Great topic!! Looking FWD to other opinions!!
LOL...the title of the thread just threw me for a loop...asking about HO stuff... What HO product ($50 or less) do you want?
Not under $50, but I REALLY need a Baldwin AS-S616. A and B would just be a bonus. For rolling stock, Intermountain said that they were coming out with a Chateau Martin 'milk' reefer but never did but the car I want most is a Ulrich drop bottom gondola (arguably HO doesn't have this either since the car is from the '60s). SP had a bunch of them (G-50-9 thru 12) but other roads had them as well: ATSF, Colorado & Southern, D&RGW, NP, Utah Coal Route, and UP
Um well, and to be perfectly honest - none, I'm an N Scaler as are the majority of people in this forum Good question though so, if I may, what N Scale model would people like to see under $50?
