Russell, thanks for starting us out!

Another Standard Kadee 50' PS1 Boxcar, painted with Scalecoat II Boxcar Red and lettered with Herald King Decals. Another member of the 1962 Class of PS1 boxcars repainted in the 70's. Needed these to tone down the colors of the rest of the DT&I Fleet.

Walther NAAC 50' Smooth Side RBL kit, painted with Scalecoat II Boxcar Red and Floquil Platinum Mist paints, then lettered with Detail Associates decals. Car was built in 1964 and was one of a group that was assigned to the WP but may have never worn WP paint as they were transfered to the SP with NADX reporting marks. I could have done one of the group the WP did own, but I could not find and IX in yellow with the proper font for the WPIX cars assigned to the WP.

    Thanks for looking!

That's a great scene, Candy. We've seen a lot of closeups of your work, but this is the first time I see such an expansive view of that neighborhood. It really gives one a sense of the depth of the model.

    Keep it up!

Mark - better take that cat's advice seriously. It looks quite determined to let you know what it thinks (it has *that* expression). Don't let the little heart medallion on the collar fool you (it even seems to have its "enforcer" along, behind).:ROFLMAO:

Very nice, Candy. Looks like a considerably better neighborhood than other places a short distance from there. The lighted stores look warm and inviting. Reminds me of going downtown on Friday night as a kid, perhaps on a mission to blow my allowance on one of AMT's 3 in 1 car kits. I do, however, seem to remember seeing that pickup truck in a bad area not long ago.....

Thank you. I want to get my street lights going. It's what's most missing.

Mocking up more roads and D’Amato Lumber...

I just need to make a simple adjustment to the roof to fix the gap. The road is made out a styrene “no parking” sign that was simply painted with automotive body primer. It still needs to be striped.

NJ International. They seemed tall to me until I checked scale drawings and they are a good height. The only detail I find fault with is the ladder, it is oversize, but not that much, so it stays. For now . . .
