Caught up with N&W Heritage Unit NS 8103 yesterday in Columbia, SC. It's a GE ES44AC built 02/2012. Blue paint on the N&W was short-lived, prevailing only from 1966 to 1971 when the former Wabash CEO took the helm and adopted a new scheme using a hue somewhat similar to Wabash blue.
