The digital edition was set up for subscribers who did not have a local hobby shop in their area, were out of town and not able to receive their printed copy at home, or preferred not to have the printed copy. The digital edition was not intended to take place of print. Therefore, when we began this new venture, we chose to keep the digital pricing the same as print, letting our subscribers decide which version (or both) they would like to subscribe to. We are also working very closely with our authors, asking that they send additional photos, diagrams, track plans, etc., that we can share as a link in our digital edition. We are hoping to begin that with the July/August 2017 issue, giving you a lot more content than the printed version. There are fees associated with that digital link that will be incurred on our end, comparable to the price of shipping.
Please be patient. We are working out the details and will continue to work very hard at offering you a great magazine with cutting edge modeling, product reviews, Electronics, Nn3, and many, many articles on "How-To" on scenery, weathering, layout ideas for new beginners, as well as advanced modelers and more.
We appreciate your emails and suggestions, and will be looking at pricing and the content of the digital edition. Thank you.

That cover scene has me thinking of a layout in the style of the Mud Bay & Southern, but not actually the woo woo woo&S.
