Okay did some primer on this unit today the nose patch turned out really good but the engineers side body panel looks horrible so it will be replaced and until I can get it done this build is on temporary hold as it has to look right .

What is the manufacturer for the model, and where did you get the nose stirrups? My f7 I built a while back only had A-line freight car steps on it, since I couldn't find anything else.

Trainiac. That is a Stewart F unit. The pilot step is from a Details west f unit upgrade kit as they make a couple of kits both have the step.

Went to rebuild the engineer's side patch panel and the shell cracked and broke this build is dead.

Will be starting on my F3A think i'll steer clear of body patch panels.

The nose panel worked okay so I might do that again.

So if the staff feel the need to remove this entire post that's okay as it's dead in the water officially.

Okay have a new F7A shell coming to replace the above shell which has been retired to the scrap bin.

Hopefully tomorrow I can post pics of my 66 seat walthers car Just finished laying on the directors special paint in a two tone scheme.

The above car is the first to be done still have 4 more to do .

But will have to do these cars one at a time as I have to disassemble each one and don't want to get the parts mixed up as each car is different.

The streamlined round end observation car is next along with an im fp7 that was given me.

Then it will be a lounge car and the E8A after that.

My plans are to build one or two complete trains at a time if i can the directors special and a coal train being the first two trains.
