Here is what I'm wondering if it's available:

Does anyone manufacture a 4 axle switching engine that has ditch lights and sound?

Extra bonus if it's as sw9 style.

The Sw9 is a relatively early desiel locomotive, being built in the '50s, so it being around to have ditch lights applied is unlikely, especially on a Class 1. I personally do not know of any still in operation on a Class 1. Athearn makes the SW1000 in BNSF H1, but it does not have ditch lights. A more modern GP would need to be nessecary to have ditch lights. Ditch lights were required on new locomotives after 1994 or 96, I forget at the moment, and had to be on all locomotives by 2000 if they were to lead a train. Athearn Genesis also makes the GP50. Some models do and some don't have ditch lights, depending on the prototype era. Another manufacturer to check out is Atlas. They have done a lot of the GP series locomotives, as well as the NRE Genset, which has ditch lights. If you feel up to it, you could modify an older locomotive to represent a modified unit, as most locomotives were. Sound can be retrofitted to almost all DCC capable locomotives. Athearn Genesis can be bought DCC and sound equipped, as well as some Atlas. It will also depend on what prototype you are looking for, because then your choices are narrowed to those locomotives.
