    Hi,
I am a Z scale guy who once long ago was going to begin a G layout, but only got as far as ordering several locomotives. I don't know if there is a better place to advertise what I have so forgive me if I am out of order, but here's the deal.

Back in October of 2005 I purchased from Charles Ro Supply a USA GP38 and SD40-2 in UP livery. I have never run them, just stored them and I think it is time I sell them.

I see where the SD40-2s are currently out of stock.
I misplaced the detail parts for both locomotives, but just now ordered all the parts that come with the locos.
These locos have the European hook type of couplers. No sound in either loco.

There is a broken piece off the front of the GP, but a good modeler could repair/paint it and not see a difference. I will reduce the price on the GP and have both locos complete with the additional parts for sale next week. You can see the broken piece on the 38.

I am wondering where to get the best price, whether it be Ebay or a private party who may be interested in said locos. If interested you can contact me at ljsnyder@charter.net.

    Thank you,

There is always eBay. I bought my F3 A/B Boston and Maine USAs there last Spring and got an excellent deal. There are few low prices on eBay for USA Trains equipment, but if your engines are priced right they will sell. You can use Buy it Now with Best Offer making sure to set your prices correctly inside the listing. Those are nice engines and I doubt that they have changed the designs much since you bought them.

I also have a GP7/9 Union Pacific USA that I bought more than 10 years ago and they haven't changed at all.

wish I could afford them :D
would love to buy the 38, but have too much on preorder in Z and N and as per usual with preorders you never know when they will hit... The 40-2 looks beautiful by the way.
