What size of fiber optics would be needed to use for a locomotive front light its going in shell i bought and going to paint in norfolk southern
I have used fibre optic stands for ditch lights is HO scale, .. I try to find a single strand that is half to two thirds the size of the final light,and then hold it near a soldering iron to let it 'ball up' and round off, the final sllghtly rounded end should just fit snugly in the light opening The other end can be sanded flat, and sealed with CA, or in some cases glued directly to the end of a flat top led .. depends on room and led placement
