      Was there an interlocking tower? Probably behind the photographer?

      According to the WWI era drawing on the Tower web site, it was on the other side of the tracks just out of view on the far left. The drawing also shows five tracks at Camp Logan. It is now Memorial Park.

      Yes, the diamond is still there. The old MKT Eureka Yard is now used for some gravel operation.

      After the Katy tracks cross the old SP, the main has been abandoned so the tracks now swing around to the south to join up with the Sunset Route on the south west leg of the wye.
