Rode Hard, but not put away yet... ATSF Dash 8-40CW (Atlas) runs through the industrial section of town on the BNSF BenZach Sub. I weathered this one heavily using a thin black wash, Dull Coat, Rubbing Alcohol, and silver paint (over the "SANTA FE" logo). Although I used a distinctly different method, I was inspired to "beat this one up" after seeing an HO-Scale Dash 8 that was done by professional modeler Pelle Soeberg.

      Don't take this the wrong way, but that diesel looks like crap. Which is to say, a lot like some other GEs I've seen. The "Fleet" paint never wore well on GEs, but still looks good on EMDs. Nicely done!
