      Who operates this track these days? Looks like it's a less used branch line?

      It's owned by CSX now, and doesn't get used much, but by a grain train 5-6 days a week, or a coal train from up by Danville on the old Cairo line
      It was part of the Terre Haute-St. Louis line. The tracks from Paris on west were drop by the PC in the late 70's.

      It's a shame so many routes have been severed. But at least this portion survives. Sounds like there's enough traffic to keep it in place.
