      I like the turntable/engine house. If it is shown here in correct proportion then, if affordable and you understand how to wire a turntable then I'd say keep it as it adds drama. It looks like you have enough yard and spur tracks already. And it's great pulling onto the TT inbound or out. Or make a wye adding leg between lowest port track and left, long TT approach and skip the TT.. You really do need something to turn an engine or two with a couple of cars if needed. Keep the north ferry slip but, yes, take out the crossover completely. Not sure about others...really think about their roles. Are they redundant, as you show in red ? Also I like that it is not a roundy round/continual plan. It's point to point which, to me, forces more proto ops each session..

      Addendum:.. I guess it helps to look at the date of an OP pic before wasting one's time on it !! The above is 8 years old !! I do though think it's a good track plan.......Also, I meant to post this in a separate box, but it came out as a quote within my prior post.. Another thing I didn't realize would occur !! DOH !!
